Menton, France
Our next stop and home base for the next three days was the quaint town of Menton! Menton’s nickname is the "Pearl of France." It’s a lesser known coastal town on the French Riviera with laid-back charm. It was perfect for us <3
Their city lines up right against the beach so you’re overlooking the skyline on the beach. We arrived woefully unprepared with only towels (no umbrella, no chairs) but it was still a wonderful afternoon at the beach.
We enjoyed coastal pizza overlooking the beach at Pizz’Addict, which was nothing short of delicious!! We had unique flavors like a curry ice cream and even indulged in a nutella pizza, which was surprisingly good.
PSA: the best gelato I have ever had in my life is Demontis in Menton. It’s been around since 1946 and it shows that they have tried and true recipes. We had the passion fruit (it was so tart and perfect it even had seeds in it), acai, and mediterranean (like a pistachio). It was to die for and we decided then and there we needed to come back every day.
