Monaco

Monaco, the land of glitz and glamour! I’m sad to report we did not run into any celebrities but it was a very cool once in a lifetime experience. Definitely worth visiting once, but maybe not a repeat trip unless you’re there to get bougie!

One of the coolest things about Monaco is they created their own payments app called Carlo where you earn 5% cash back on every store that takes it (which is everywhere). The cash back automatically applies to your next Carlo purchase. It’s a way of cutting out the credit card companies, save on fees, and stimulate the local economy.

Our kids’ favorite stop: Jack’s Candies.

We enjoyed a casual Marché de La Condamine, an outdoor food hall where every option looked amazing. We ate at Maison Mer because who doesn’t love a fresh salmon wrap and sweet potato fries.

If I loved F1 more, Monaco is a dream come true!

Santo Gelato Monaco - chocolate hazelnut, lychee and passion fruit! Not as good as Demontis in Menton.

Yacht city!

Just a quick day in Monaco, but we definitely got to experience it all! Thus concluded our time in the French Riviera before we took a train a few hours south to the legendary region of Provence.
